Arjun Kapoor To Raise Funds For Animal Welfare By Auctioning His Personal Items

As the world sits inside their houses owing to the lockdown, there are many stray animals outside who are suffering. There is nobody out to feed them which is resulting in some of them starving to death. Many organisations are coming forward to help and feed the stray and actor Arjun Kapoor also joins this list now!

Arjun Kapoor shared a video of him talking to his fans and wrote, "Whilst we are battling with the pandemic, we must also not forget to be humane to the animals that need our help. I am supporting the efforts of @worldforall, which is providing food and water to stray animals during this lockdown and I am putting up for sale some pieces from my closet in an online fundraiser. The sale proceeds will entirely go to them. @saltscout

This is a great initiative by Arjun who has chosen some items from his personal closet which are now for online sale. The amount collected from this sale will be entirely donated to feed the animals. Prior to this, Arjun also helped her sister Anshula's fund raiser initiative Fankind by going on a virtual date with five of his fans and raised an amount of 5 lakhs out of it to be given to the daily wage earners.

On the work front, Arjun Kapoor's long awaited film 'Sandeep aur Pinky Faraar' was scheduled to release on 20th March 2020 but got pushed again owing to widespread of Coronavirus in the country. The film directed by Dibakar Banerjee and produced by Yash Raj Films, stars Arjun and Parineeti Chopra in the lead roles.
