Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta turns a year older today and his friends from film fraternity wish him a very happy birthday on social media.

Sanjay Gupta is mostly known for his films such as Aatish, Kaante, Kaabil, Shootout at Lokhandwala, Shootout at Wadala, Jazbaa and Zinda. The filmmaker turns 50 years old today.

Naved Jafri and Gulshan Grover among many others took to their social media profile and wished the director.

On professional front Sanjay Gupta is busy with the last shooting schedule of his gangster drama ‘Mumbai Saga’ starring John Abraham, Emraan Hashmi, Kajal Aggarwal, and many others in lead.

Mumbai Saga captures the changing face of India’s financial capital. The film is based on events from the ’80s and ’90s that show how the long skyscrapers and malls replaced the mills in Mumbai and all that went into transforming Bombay into Mumbai.

‘Mumbai Saga’ is produced by T-Series and White Feather Films. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Sangiita Ahir, and Anuradha Gupta. The film is set to hit theatres on June 19.
