Amazon Prime Video Drops Upload Trailer

Amazon Prime Video drops a stunning and technically sound trailer of Upload, a sci-fi series starring Robbie Amell, Allegra Edwards and Andy Allo. It is helmed by Greg Daniels.

In the near future, people who are near death can be "uploaded" into virtual reality environments. Cash-strapped Nora works customer service for the luxurious Lakeview digital afterlife. When party-boy/coder Nathan's car crashes, his girlfriend uploads him into Nora's VR world.

Upload follows main character Nathan (played by Robbie Amell) who, after dying, is able to choose his afterlife. The series's first full-length trailer gives us a long-awaited glimpse at just how interesting things can get when you have that much control over your life after death.

With movie theaters shuttering and major studios postponing all the spring film releases—including the May 1 release of Marvel's Black Widow—now is the perfect time to explore new content on streaming services.

Upload debuts May 1, 2020, on Amazon Prime Video.
