After F9, Bond Movie and now Disney’s biggest movie, Mulan has been postponed due to Corona virus pandemic.

The official handle of Walt Disney Studio India dropped the confirmation. It said, “The theatrical release of Mulan has been postponed. We will share an update on the new release date soon. Stay tuned.”

Disney announced it was moving the film's release out of an abundance of caution. The film, a live-action remake of the beloved 1998 animated film about a Chinese female warrior, was set to debut in North America on March 27.

Mulan made at a whopping cost of 200 million dollars was expected to make a big splash around the world, especially in China.

The film tells the story of Mulan, a legendary fighter from ancient China who disguises herself as a man to take her elderly father's place in the army and protect her country from invaders. The film has an international cast led by Yifei Liu.

Mulan is directed by Niki Caro, with the screenplay by Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver, Lauren Hynek, and Elizabeth Martin, and produced by Walt Disney Pictures. The film is based on the Chinese folklore "The Ballad of Mulan" and is a live-action adaptation of Disney's 1998 animated film of the same name.

The film stars Liu Yifei in the title role, alongside Donnie Yen, Jason Scott Lee, Yoson An, Gong Li, and Jet Li in supporting roles.
