Abhishek Bachchan Wraps Bob Biswas First Schedule
Abhishek Bachchan has wrapped up the first shooting schedule of his upcoming film Bob Biswas. The actor will come to the big screen after considerable gap of two years with Bob Biswas.
The film is directed by Diya Annapurna Ghosh. It is produced by Gauri Khan, Sujoy Ghosh and Gaurav Verma.
The official social media handle of Red Chillies Entertainment shared a candid picture from the first schedule wrap. They captioned it, “Team #BobBiswas is all smiles as it completes the first schedule of shooting! #BoundScript
Bob Biswas is a character of Vidya Balan's 2012 film Kahaani. Bob Biswas was a contract killer in the film, played by Bengali actor Saswata Chatterjee. Though Saswata's role in the film was just of a few minutes, the actor immortalized the character; leading to its very own film.
Twitter was divided when the makers signed Abhishek Bachchan to play Bob Biswas. Kahaani was directed by Sujoy Ghosh and Bob Biswas is directed by his daughter Diya.
