Prithiviraj Is One Of The Most Expensive Movie Says Sonu Sood

Actor Sonu Sood, who will next be seen onscreen with Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chillar in period drama "Prithviraj", says that shoot is in progress and it is one of the most expensive films of 2020.

Prithviraj is a historical drama that traces the life of King Prithviraj Chauhan. The film stars Akshay Kumar in the title role while Manushi Chhillar makes her debut as Rani Samyukta. The film is bankrolled by Yash Raj Film and helmed by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi. The film is slated to release on November 13, on Diwali.

Talking about the film and working with Akshay Kumar, actor Sonu Sood said, “The shoot is on. It's one of the most expensive films coming out this year, during Diwali. Akshay and I have worked together in three to four films, and all those films were huge hits. So, we hope to recreate that magic in this film, too. I feel Dr. Chandrapraksh Dwivedi and (producer) Aditya Chopra are masters of their craft, and they will make sure that this film will be one of the biggest films of the year" said Sonu, on the sidelines of Godrej Interior launch event.

Talking about the house interiors of the actor he likes, Sonu said, “I feel Shahrukh Khan’s house is pretty cool. The interiors are very nicely worked out. Gauri being an interior person, she travels a lot and is very precise about the detailing’s in interiors.  And I must say she has done a remarkable job for her house.”

Meanwhile on the work front, apart from historic drama, Sonu Sood is also busy with ‘Mumbai Saga’, helmed by Sanjay Gupta. It is a gangster drama and stars an ensemble cast of John Abraham, Emraan Hashmi, Mahesh Manjrekar, Kajal Aggarwal, Suniel Shetty, Prateik Babbar, Pankaj Tripathi, Rohit Roy, Amole Gupte, Samir Soni, Gulshan Grover and Sharman Joshi.
