Love Aaj Kal Has Been Enriching, Challenging And Satisfying Film Says Kartik Aaryan
Actor Kartik Aaryan who will be seen playing two different characters in forthcoming Love Aaj Kal, says the film has been the enriching, challenging and satisfying as an actor for him.
Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan hosted a press conference to promote their upcoming romantic caper Love Aaj Kal, helmed by Imitaz Ali.
Talking about his role and challenges Kartik faced playing two different characters in two different time zones, he said, “I am playing two characters in this film and both have been challenging for me. There is Veer in current time, and Raghu which is from the past. Playing both the characters in the film has been a different kind of experience for me because I have never done such roles in my career. I think this is the first time in my career that I am going out of the box and I am going out of my own comfort zone that to be with two different characters in one film, so this has been the a very challenging film for me. I think Love Aaj Kal has been my most challenging film and characters, which I have portrayed”
Further adding, Kartik credited Imtiaz Ali for making his journey easy on the film. He said, “Imtiaz Ali made this film a little easy for me. He approach he had for me and simultaneously taught me lot, and I think it’s been a learning experience. I think I have started a new journey from this film as an actor. I think I have gotten an enriching, fulfilling and creative satisfaction from this film and playing these characters”
“Whether it’s Raghu, whose journey starts from school to manhood, it’s a story of few years. His character graph and looks keep changing in that short time. Than Veer, I think he might come across as weird in his first approach, because he is an unfiltered person, he doesn’t have any filter and ends up saying anything in-front of anyone. He is very robotic, he lives in isolation, and he even lives separately from his family. So he is little introvert among people, so people will be able to identify with him. Personally I think Veer is not weird, his is smart, and his smartness lies within his weirdness. And to play something like that was a challenge because there is this very thin line between both the characters, Raghu and Veer” added Kartik.
