Reliance Entertainment Confirms Biopic On M.S. Bitta, Chief Of AIATF

The Reliance Entertainment just confirmed a biopic based on All India Anti-Terrorist Front Chairman Maninderjeet Singh Bitta. The film is MS Bitta – Hit List.

The official handle of Reliance Entertainment tweeted, “#RelianceEntertainment and @Bossindia8 come together for the biopic based on the chairman of All-India Anti-Terrorist Front, @MSBitta1's life. A braveheart, he has been the living example of true patriotism. @Shibasishsarkar @ShailendraS7 @priyagupta999”

Maninderjeet Singh Bitta also known as M. S. Bitta is the chairman of the All-India Anti-Terrorist Front (AIATF), and former President of Indian Youth Congress. He was a Minister in Punjab Government.

Producer Shibasish Sarkar also confirmed the film. He captioned it, “@RelianceEnt @Bossindia8 @shailendraS7 & @priyagupta999 come together to tell the inspiring story on @MSBitta1 ji's life. A braveheart, he has been the living example of true patriotism.”

Born into a middle-class family Bitta became enthralled by politics and joined the Youth Congress. In 1983, Bitta became the district chief of the Youth Congress (I), and with his passion for publicity - to his credit backed by rare courage at a time when the militants' writ was written in stone - he began taking out peace marches and holding rallies in Amritsar. He first drew attention by hosting an Independence Day flag-hoisting ceremony near the Golden Temple despite militant threats.

In 1992, Bitta's was severely injured in a car bombing that killed 13 people in Amritsar holy city of Punjab. There have been many attempts on his life.
