Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who celebrated his 54th Birthday with media and fans, said that film opening is nothing to celebrate about, I believe every film should do well, which is return would be beneficial for the industry.

Despite political upheaval in the country, Salman Khan starring Dabangg 3, and Akshay Kumar starring Good Newwz opened a week apart and now trade pundits constantly compare the box-office collection of both the films.

When asked about the comparison, Salman Khan said, “Every film should do well and open well. Whether it’s Akshay Kumar’s, Shahrukh Khan’s or anyone, I think every film should do well, which is good for the industry in return. And my film’s opening is a damn good opening, given the fact that country is going through so much right now and people still went ahead and watched our film, it’s a salute to all our fans.”

"Our film Dabangg 3 was also expected to open to a certain number but it opened less than that but even then I want to thank my fans who are going to the theatre and spending their hard earned money to watch our film. That is why we promise to work hard to give them the worth of their money. I salute all our fans" added Salman.

Next, Salman Khan is prepping for his role in Radhe, directed by Prabhu Deva. It is produced by Sohail Khan under the banner of Reel Life Productions Private Limited. The film also features Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff in the lead roles along with Gautam Gulati and Zarina Wahab in supporting roles.

It is scheduled to be released on 22 May 2020, the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
