The Gentleman Trailer 2 Is Out
British filmmaker Guy Ritchie has tackled movies based off classic literature and existing intellectual properties, but now he makes a comeback to his crime comedy roots with The Gentleman, for which the second trailer is out.
The Gentleman sees Matthew McConaughey’s Mickey Pearson, who has created a “highly profitable marijuana empire” in London, but is looking to cash out his business.
Guy Ritchie directs from a screenplay he wrote with Marn Davies and Ivan Atkinson about a British drug lord who tries to sell his business empire to a family of billionaires from Oklahoma. Ritchie also produces the Miramax film.
The Gentleman also stars the likes of Charlie Hunnam, Michelle Dockery, Colin Farrell, Hugh Grant, Jeremy Strong and Eddie Marsan, among others.
While this movie most certainly won’t be lacking in graphic violence, in keeping with Guy Ritchie’s classic filmography, it looks like there will be plenty of lighthearted/humorous moments.
