Nisha Ambani and Isha Ambani turned Santa Claus for 4000 underprivileged kids
Reliance foundation chairperson Nita Ambani and her daughter Isha Ambani turned Santa Claus for 4000 underprivileged kids at Jio Wonderland on Wednesday in Mumbai.
On Christmas, the mother-daughter duo inaugurated the five-day-long carnival with a special preview for 4000 underprivileged children, as part of an initiative by Reliance Foundation. The preview also included a character parade that featured the Hamley and Hattie bear.
When it came to their sartorial choices for the carnival, both Ambanis opted for Christmas colours. While the Mumbai Indians boss paired a green and white polka dot top with jeans, her 28-year-old daughter opted for a red dress.
"It is the season of joy and giving and I strongly believe that the cheer should be shared with the children first and foremost. Children deserve a holistic life perspective, and every child should have the right to play," Nita Ambani, the Founder and Chairperson of Reliance Foundation, said at the inauguration.
Nita Ambani said that children are future of the country, she said, “I feel our children are our future. All of us need to strive to give equal opportunities to all children, no matter where they come from and that is what I am striving to do for a very long time.
