Actress Kangana Ranaut, whose forthcoming sports drama Panga recently dropped its first trailer and it went viral, said that its high time we supported working mothers.

Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari directorial Panga revolves around a working mother given a second chance to life her sports dream. The film stars Kangana Ranaut, Jassie Gill, Neena Gupta and Richa Chadda in the leading roles.

The trailer of the film shattered all viewership landmarks and racked up close to 44 million hits within 24 hours.

Kangana expressing her feelings says, "For me it's very welcoming to see that a film on a mother, which is about a mother being given a second chance, is getting such an extraordinary response from the audiences. I think it's high time that we encourage, support, co-operate and give respect to the working mothers.....the respect that they deserve."

Director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari adds, “Its heart warming to see so much love showered for Panga. It also makes me believe stories that are truly told from the heart resonate to an audience who is willing to accept us no matter who we are and where we come from. This is the new changing unapologetic India.”

Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s Panga, starring Kangana Ranaut and Jassie Gill has broken the internet and is receiving overwhelming love and appreciation.  The trailer, a rousing tribute to living your dreams and giving them a second chance, was launched on Monday and is being loved unanimously across all age groups.

Panga is produced by Fox Star Studios. The film also features Neena Gupta and Richa Chadda in pivotel roles. The film is slated for 24th January 2020 release.
