​Gold Heading For China Release, Confirms Akshay Kumar

Akshay Kumar starring Gold, a sports drama based on national hockey team at the 1948 Summer Olympics, is heading for China release. The first look poster and release date are out!

Actor Akshay Kumar just took to his social media profile and dropped the deeds on the film. Gold: The Dream That United Our Nation is directed by Reema Kagti, written by Javed Akhtar and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Shah. It is based upon the title of national hockey team at the 1948 Summer Olympics and stars Akshay Kumar,  Mouni Roy, Amit Sadh, Vineet Kumar Singh, Kunal Kapoor, Sunny Kaushal and Nikita Dutta are featured in supporting roles.

Gold was theatrically released in India on 15 August 2018, India's Independence Day. The film became the first Bollywood film to be released in Saudi Arabia and now heading for China release.

Meanwhile on the work front, Akshay Kumar is busy with back to back releases, such as Good Newwz, Sooryavanshi, Laxmmi Bomb, Bell Bottom and Prithviraj.

Prithviraj is a historical period drama film directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi and produced by Aditya Chopra under his production house Yash Raj Films. It is about the life of King Prithviraj Chauhan. The film also marks the acting debut of Manushi Chhillar. The film releases 2020 Diwali.
