Bollywood celebrities such as Akshay Kumar, Pooja Hegde, Niddhi Agerwal, Richa Chadha and whole lot more demand justice for Priyanka Reddy, who was brutally murdered and gang-raped on Hyderabad-Bengaluru National Highway.

Demand for justice grew stronger on social media for veterinarian Priyanka Reddy, who was brutally charred to death on the Hyderabad-Bengaluru National Highway on Thursday. She is suspected to have been sexually assaulted before being murdered.

Superstar Akshay Kumar just took to his social media and condemned the heinous act and demanded justice for the poor girl. He wrote, “Whether it is #PriyankaReddy in Hyderabad, #Roja in Tamil Nadu or the law student gangraped in Ranchi,we seem to be losing it as a society. It has been 7 yrs to the gut-wrenching #Nirbhaya case & our moral fabric continues to be in pieces. We need stricter laws. This needs to STOP!”

Actress Pooja Hegde shared, “Heartbroken about the news of the rape in Hyderabad....this is devastating news. What needs to change in India to permanently put an end to this? When does this end? #JusticeForPriyankaReddy”

Actress Nidhhi Agerwal also expressed her anger. She wrote, “This has saddened me to my core. Human being inhumane. This needs to stop. This is what we know of, imagine how many cases we don’t know about. Women or men, every individual needs to be treated with basic respect. These men deserved to be punished. #JusticeForPriyankaReddy”

Actress Richa Chadha wrote, “Her only crime was she trusted these men who promised to fix her scooty.Perpetrators are given the harshest punishment, they don’t belong in society. They won her trust and then brutalised her. Treated her like a thing, not a human being. Condolences to family #priyanakareddy”

Dr Reddy’s body was found on the outskirts of Hyderabad near the Chadanpalli village in Rangareddy district on Wednesday, November 27. She was reported missing by her family members. The police have arrested four people in connection to the crime.
