Ali Fazal and I share very natural tuning and chemistry says Shriya Pilgaonkar
Actress Shriya Pilgaonkar, who next will be seen in a Netflix film titled ‘House Arrest’, has said that she shares very natural tuning and chemistry with Ali Fazal with whom she earlier worked in a web series named ‘Mirzapur’.
Shriya Pilgaonkar was interacting with the media to promote ‘House Arrest’ on Friday in Mumbai.
Before, ‘House Arrest’ Shriya Pilgaonkar and Ali Fazal have collaborated with each other in Excel Entertainment’s web series named ‘Mirzapur’ sharing her equation with Ali Fazal, Shriya said, “I think ‘Mirzapur’ and ‘House Arrest’ is completely different project than each other so, I hope that audience will appreciate our work in ‘House Arrest’. I feel that Ali and I have very natural tuning and chemistry. We are good friends. I really enjoy working with him. He is very intelligent and talented boy so, I feel very inspired whenever I work him.”
Talking about her next release, Shriya said, “‘House Arrest’ is my first Netflix original film and I am very excited about it. Ali (Fasal) and I are going to be seen together in this film once again after ‘Mirzapur’ in a completely different avatar. ‘House Arrest’ is about this boy named Karan (Ali Fazal) who just refuses to get out of his house since few months. I am playing role of a journalist named Saira and she feels very curious about this guy when she comes to know about him so, she visits his house and then, they get to know each other and both of them learn from each other so, that’s the story of the film.”
When asked Shriya what made her to be a part of ‘House Arrest’, she said, “I genuinely liked story of this film. When you read some scripts, you feel that you have to be part of that project so, this film was one of them. It has really unique story. We shot this entire film in 25 days in one location and one costume. Apart from Ali and me, there are only 2-3 characters in the film so, that was really different experience. We did a lot of workshops and readings before shooting the film because we wanted to develop graphs of our characters so, it was a wonderful learning process and we had a lot of fun while working on this film.”
