Satellite Shankar Show Our Respect For Armed Forces Says Sooraj Pancholi
Newbie actor Sooraj Pancholi is back with his second movie, Satellite Shankar, says the film is an ode to Indian Armed forces and their families on the sidelines of his recent media interaction.
Sooraj Pancholi was interacting with media to promote ‘Satellite Shankar’ along with film’s director Irfan Kamal on Monday in Mumbai.
Talking about the film, Sooraj said, “It’s such a nice film which tells you importance of unity in the country. We have not only made this film to show our respect towards soldiers but also for their families and our entire nation.”
Sooraj plays a happy-go-lucky Indian soldier ‘Satellite Shankar’ – who wants to leave his base and visit his mother. Once his holidays are sanctioned, Shankar goes on an epic road trip to his home town, and along the way gets entangled in one adventure after another.
Talking about how he got film offer of ‘Satellite Shankar’, Sooraj said, “I have heard a lot of scripts but this script is one of best scripts that I have heard. Even though I am new in this industry as an actor but I have been working as an assistant director since I was 18 years old. I have worked with very talented directors like Sanjay Bhansali sir and Kabir Khan sir so, maybe I am not an expert but I think I have some kind of knowledge about scripts.”
