I like the Character Of Noblemen Says Kunal Kapoor

Kunal Kapoor, who is all set to explore the “teacher-student” territory on big screen with his forthcoming social drama Noblemen, says he likes his character’s unorthodox approach in the film.

The film is helmed by Vandana Kataria, the movie stars Kunal Kapoor and Soni Razdan in the leading roles along with an ensemble.

Talking about his role in the film, Kunal Kapoor said, “I play a theater drama teacher in the film. He is somebody who is teaching the children ‘The Merchant of Vince’ – he is preparing them for the play. He is somebody you don’t know much about, you don’t know from where he has come and who he is, in the film. And that sort of lends a mystery to him because everyone is talking about him, you know, gossip. But no one knows much about him”

“The thing I liked about the character is that he has sort of unorthodox approach towards teaching. He thinks that kids need to be taught in a whole different way. So that makes him a little rebellious and sets him against the other teachers, but he somebody all the kids love” added Kunal.

The film chronicles the story of a 15-year-old boy, struggling with his adolescent years, who is terrorized by a gang of bullies in a posh boarding school. This sets forth a chain of events that leads to a loss of life and innocence.

The film also stars Ali Haji, Ivan Rodrigues, Mohommad Ali Mir, Ankit Kukreti, Muskkaan Jaferi, Shaan Groverr, Manav Chauhan, Parag Gupta and Abhay Narang in major roles.

The film is backed by Yoodlee Films, a production venture of Saregama. The film releases on 28th June 2019.
