The Problem of Discrimination is Ours Says Anubhav Sinha
After tackling religious divide in India with his last release, Mulk, filmmaker Aubhav Sinha is all set to tackle “caste discrimination” with his forthcoming release, Article 15. The filmmaker says that the problem of discrimination is “Ours” and we need to change.
During his recent media interaction filmmaker Aubhav Sinha was asked if the film make any difference in society, he said, “This problem of discrimination is ours – yours and mine. You and I make this country and the way we behave, the country behaves the same”
“Look, one film cannot change society, it will be tremendous pressure on the film, but one film could definitely facilitate that we start talking about one particular issue or subject. And we’re trying to do only that much, we’re not aiming for more. This film will make an impact of certain people” added the filmmaker.
The trailer of the film has been receiving a lot of back lashes and flags for targeting certain segment of society. Talking about negative criticism, Anubhav said the film is the mirror of society.
He said, “There are a lot of things in trailer which has been making headlines of late, so that is all part of this film. So it is right that this film is mirror of society”
