​Jim Carrey Drops The Trailer Of Sonic The Hedgehog

Bollywood actor Jim Carrey is back with an amazing new trailer of Sonic - The Hedgehog. The actor dropped the first official trailer on his Twitter profile.

Jim Carrey wrote, “I'm glad so many of you are loving my art. I also enjoy acting. Go ahead, sneak a peek!”

SONIC THE HEDGEHOG is a live-action adventure comedy based on the global blockbuster videogame franchise from Sega that centers on the infamously brash bright blue hedgehog.

The film follows the adventures of Sonic as he navigates the complexities of life on Earth with his newfound – human – best friend Tom Wachowski (James Marsden).

 Sonic and Tom join forces to try and stop the villainous Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey) from capturing Sonic and using his immense powers for world domination.

The film also stars Tika Sumpter and Ben Schwartz as the voice of Sonic.

Jim Carrey’s unhinged take on Robotnik, who apparently is an independent contractor to the United States military who is hired to help take down Sonic, is amazing to watch.

Paramount acquired the rights to the film in 2017 after Sony put it the project in turnaround, and the majority of the cast signed on by August 2018.  An American–Japanese joint venture between Paramount Animation, Original Film, Sega, Blur Studio, and Marza Animation Planet, Sonic the Hedgehog is set to be released on November 8, 2019.
