Ahan Shetty Joins the Cast of ‘Border 2’
Bollywood actor Ahan Shetty, who made his impressive debut in the romantic action film Tadap, is stepping into a significant role in the upcoming war film Border 2. This sequel not only marks a crucial moment in Ahan's career but also carries forward the legacy of his father, veteran actor Suniel Shetty, who was a key part of the original Border film.
Border 2 is set to bring together a powerhouse ensemble including Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, and Varun Dhawan, all under the direction of Anurag Singh. The first installment of Border, released in 1997, was a landmark film that depicted the Battle of Longewala during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. The sequel, however, is expected to focus on the Kargil War, which unfolded in 1999. This conflict saw Indian forces confront infiltrators from across the Line of Control (LoC), leading to a significant military campaign that restored control over key territories.
