Bhumi Pednekar Wraps Filming on Highly Anticipated Web Series "Daldal"
Actor Bhumi Pednekar has successfully completed filming for her eagerly awaited web series Daldal, sharing her excitement and reflections on the year-long journey via her Instagram story. Describing the role as one of her most challenging to date, Bhumi expressed both nervousness and gratitude for the opportunity to work with a talented cast and crew.
In her heartfelt post, she stated, "Hands down one of my most complex characters. Am nervous! Had the opportunity to work with such sublime actors and creators on the show. We braved the Mumbai monsoons, shot in the toughest conditions and yet our spirits could never be dampened. Kudos to us all."
Bhumi took a moment to thank her team, highlighting the collaboration with director Amrit Raj Gupta and producer Vikram Malhotra. "Thank you Vikram for constantly bringing me parts that challenge me & for believing in me. This was that rare connect where I was like let's free fall," she shared, praising Gupta as "kind and sorted as a maker." She also acknowledged the entire team at Prime Video for their unwavering support and enthusiasm throughout the project.

In Daldal, Bhumi portrays a cop named Rita, a character she describes as a "super achiever" and "glass-ceiling breaker." She elaborated, "Rita is ambitious, ferociously passionate about her job and leads from the front. These are the kinds of women I idolize, and I'm thrilled to headline a series like this on a global streaming platform that will showcase the strength and resilience of Indian women to the world."
