Varun Dhawan Expresses Hope for Niece Anjini Dhawan’s Debut

At the recent trailer launch of his niece Anjini Dhawan’s debut film, Binny and Family, actor Varun Dhawan shared his heartfelt wishes for her and offered a glimpse into his own life as a new parent. As he reminisced about his own debut, Dhawan expressed his hope that the audience will shower Anjini with the same love and support he received for his first film, Student of the Year (SOTY).

Reflecting on the trailer launch event, Varun Dhawan remarked, “My debut movie’s trailer was launched here in this very auditorium, and I can see many familiar faces from the media. I would just appeal to everyone to extend the same warmth and affection to Anjini that you once showed to me, Alia, and Sidharth back then.” His heartfelt appeal underscores his desire for his niece to receive a warm reception as she steps into the limelight.

In addition to his professional support for Anjini, Varun Dhawan recently experienced a major life change with the arrival of his first child, a baby girl, with his wife Natasha Dalal. Discussing the challenges and joys of fatherhood, he humorously shared, “Yes, my thinking has changed. It feels strange when my parents have just finished scolding me, and then I walk into my child’s room, where she starts scolding me too. And then Natasha joins in! At that moment, I wonder what my position is in this household.”

Dhawan also touched on the dynamics of parenting and caring for aging parents. “When you’re young, your parents are concerned about you, and they still are. My mother is here, and even as she gets older, you have to look after them as well. It’s a balancing act that you have to navigate.”

On the work front, Varun Dhawan is busy wrapping Baby John, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, Citadel and Bhediya 2.
