Malayalam Director Srinath Rajendran Ventures into Hindi Cinema with Film on Notorious Con Man Dhani Ram Mittal

Srinath Rajendran, acclaimed for his impactful Malayalam films such as Kurup (featuring Dulquer Salmaan) and Koothara (starring Mohanlal), is set to make his debut in Hindi cinema. His upcoming film, inspired by the notorious con man Dhani Ram Mittal, marks an exciting new chapter in his career.

The film is based on the book MoneyRam, co-authored by Chetan Uniyal and Pretty Aggarwal. It delves into the life of Dhani Ram Mittal, a figure infamous for his elaborate cons. The adaptation promises to bring a riveting narrative to the screen, showcasing Rajendran's signature storytelling flair in a new language and context.

Currently, the screenplay is under development, with shooting scheduled to begin in early 2025. The film is being produced by Insomnia Media and Content Services Limited in association with Pretty Pictures, and will be released in Hindi, Malayalam, and Telugu, targeting a PAN-Indian audience.
