IIFA Awards Returns to Yas Island for Its Third Consecutive Year
The International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards, the world’s grandest celebration of Indian cinema, is set to dazzle once again on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi from September 27th to 29th, 2024. This marks the festival’s third consecutive year at the iconic Etihad Arena, continuing its tradition of honoring cinematic excellence.
The star-studded event will feature Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar as hosts, bringing their dynamic energy to the stage. Shahid Kapoor is also set to electrify the audience with his performance, adding to the festival’s allure.
The IIFA Festival will kick off with IIFA Utsavam on September 27th, celebrating South Indian cinema. The prestigious IIFA Awards ceremony will follow on September 28th, recognizing the best in Hindi cinema. The festivities will conclude with the exclusive IIFA Rocks event on September 29th.
Under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan and in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Miral, this year’s IIFA promises an unprecedented showcase of Indian cinema, blending Bollywood flair with the vibrant South Indian film industries.
