Mumbai Welcomes “Rajadhiraaj: Love Life Leela” with Star-Studded Premiere at NMACC

On Wednesday evening, Mumbai’s Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) was abuzz with the glittering presence of Bollywood’s elite at the premiere of the highly anticipated musical Rajadhiraaj: Love Life Leela. The event drew an impressive array of celebrities, each adding their own sparkle to the night’s festivities.

The red carpet was a visual feast as B-town stars arrived in style. Janhvi Kapoor dazzled in a stunning red saree, elevated by exquisite jewellery that perfectly complemented her look. Her brother, Arjun Kapoor, was also in attendance, opting for a sophisticated ethnic ensemble that matched the evening’s grandeur.

Veteran Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan was all smiles, adding his charm to the event. Shabana Azmi, the iconic actress, graced the premiere in a beautiful black saree with a red border, showcasing her timeless elegance. Rajadhiraaj: Love Life Leela promises to be a spectacle of epic proportions. The musical, running for 120 minutes, is set to run daily from August 15th to September 1st, 2024. With over 100 performers, the production is a testament to grand theatrical artistry.

Written by the acclaimed Prasoon Joshi and directed by the talented Shruti Sharma, the musical captures the essence of Shri Krishna’s life, taking audiences on a journey from Vraj to Mewar, Mathura to Dwarka. The narrative explores Krishna’s divine playfulness, courage, and profound philosophical insights, bringing his multifaceted persona to life with remarkable depth.

The musical features a soul-stirring soundtrack by Bollywood composers Sachin-Jigar, with costumes designed by the renowned Neeta Lulla. These elements come together to create an immersive experience that celebrates Krishna’s legendary adventures.

The grand design, orchestrated by award-winning director and production designer Omung Kumar, adds to the visual splendor. Kumar’s set design transports audiences to ancient India, vividly depicting Krishna’s world with vibrant colors and dynamic scenes.

The premiere of Rajadhiraaj: Love Life Leela was not just a showcase of cinematic talent but also a celebration of Indian culture and mythology.
