Vikram Bhatt Unveils Four Exciting New Films, Showcasing a Range of Genres and Stories
Renowned filmmaker Vikram Bhatt, celebrated for his compelling work in the thriller and horror genres, has announced an intriguing lineup of four new films. The announcement took place at a press conference in Mumbai, where Bhatt was joined by Ajay Murdia, and the event was graced by prominent personalities including Anupam Kher, Esha Deol, Adah Sharma, and Mahesh Bhatt.
The first film in Bhatt's new slate is Rann, a grand historical drama centered on the legendary King Rana Raj Singh of Mewar. The film will dramatize the historic battle fought by Rana Raj Singh against the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. Bhatt has described Rann as his most ambitious project to date, promising a sweeping narrative filled with grandeur and intense historical conflict.
Next on the roster is Viraat, set in the year 1911. This unique film tells the story of a lion who becomes a hero in the face of colonial oppression. As the King of England’s visit to India coincides with the construction of a railway line that threatens the demolition of a sacred temple, a lion, devoted to Sherawali Mata, rises to protect the temple and challenge the Englishmen. Viraat is set to offer a mix of historical drama and animal heroism, blending myth and reality.
The third film, Tu Meri Puri Kahani, ventures into the realm of romance. Bhatt promises a heartfelt exploration of love and relationships, offering audiences a departure from his usual thriller and horror fare. The film is expected to feature a compelling love story that resonates with emotions and personal connections.
Finally, Tumko Meri Kasam will blend romance with courtroom drama, drawing inspiration from the real-life experiences of Ajay Murdia. The film is set to star Anupam Kher, Adah Sharma, Esha Deol, and Ishwak Singh.
