The makers of Masaan celebrates n9 years of its release, the film marked the acting debut of Vicky Kaushal, it also starred Richa Chadda, Pankaj Tripathi, Sanjay Mishra, Vineet Kumar and Niharica Raizada.

Helmed by debutante filmmaker Neeraj Ghaywan, the film fetched him a National Award for addressing the taboo of casteism in India.
