First Official Trailer for 'Bad Newz' Unveiled: A Comedy of Unusual Paternity

The excitement around the upcoming film "Bad Newz" reached new heights with the release of its first official trailer, helmed by director Anand Tiwari. Featuring a stellar cast including Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, Ammy Virk, and Neha Dhupia, the trailer promises a roller-coaster ride of laughter and unexpected twists.

Apoorva Mehta, sharing the trailer on social media, teased audiences with the caption, "Tripling up the entertainment quotient with some #BadNewz – a total package of everything you never saw coming! A rare comedy film inspired by true events. TRAILER OUT NOW! In cinemas on 19th July." The trailer launch was met with eager anticipation from fans and cinephiles alike.

The storyline revolves around Saloni, portrayed by Triptii Dimri, who finds herself in a hilariously complex situation when she discovers she is pregnant. The twist? She's unsure which of her two boyfriends, Akhil Chadha (played by Vicky Kaushal) or Gurbir (played by Ammy Virk), is the father. Things take an even more bizarre turn when her doctor reveals that both men are the biological fathers—a rare occurrence indeed.

Caught in the midst of this comedic dilemma, Saloni embarks on a mission to determine the best-suited father for her unborn child, while Akhil and Gurbir engage in a comical battle to prove their worthiness as prospective dads.

Produced under the banners of Amazon Prime, Dharma Productions, and Leo Media Collective, the film was initially titled Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam, which was later changed to Bad Newz, it is slated for 19th July 2024.
