As anticipation mounts for the upcoming epic dystopian sci-fi action film 'Kalki 2898AD', the makers have unveiled the first look poster featuring veteran actress Shobhana as Mariam. The film, written and directed by Nag Ashwin, ventures into a post-apocalyptic world set in the year 2898 AD, drawing inspiration from Hindu scriptures. With an ensemble cast that includes industry stalwarts such as Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan alongside contemporary stars like Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani, and Brahmanandam, 'Kalki 2898AD' is poised to redefine the genre with its scale and ambition.

Produced by C. Aswani Dutt under Vyjayanthi Movies, the project is notable not only for its ambitious storytelling but also for its visual and technical grandeur. Shot primarily in Telugu with select scenes reshot in Hindi, the film boasts of being one of the most expensive Indian productions to date.
