Writers Are Turning Into Showrunners Says Sataydeep Mishra
Actor Satyadeep Mishra sheds light on an often-overlooked aspect of the entertainment industry – the role and recognition of writers, and poignantly points out that there is reason why writers are now showrunners of the show.
Satyadeep Mishra was interacting with the media while promoting the forthcoming Illegal Season 3.
When asked about role of writer often overlooked, Satyadeep said, “ˇ I do agree that the audience, perhaps they don’t know the name of the writer who wrote the show, or film, but within industry, everyone knows who wrote it and the writer is getting his/her dues. There is a reason, why the writers are the showrunners these days, because they know which character is doing what or what the character needs to do.”
Mishra also shared a little sneak-peek into the evolution of his character and storyline across different seasons. He said, “In earlier seasons, I was either with Niharica or against Niharica, but in this season, my personal life is explored more, and the elements which influence my process in court.”
