Kamal Haasan Unveils New Poster for 'Indian 2' and Urges Fans to Vote Responsibly

Superstar Kamal Haasan has released a brand-new poster for his highly anticipated film "Indian 2," coinciding with a powerful message to his fans to vote responsibly in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The actor, known for his socially conscious stance, shared the poster on his social media profiles, emphasizing the importance of each vote in shaping the nation's future.

The newly released poster features Kamal Haasan in his iconic role as Senapathy, a character from the "Indian" franchise known for his unwavering commitment to fighting corruption. In the poster, he is seen wearing his signature white shirt, with the ink mark on his finger indicating that he has cast his vote. Indian 2, a vigilante action film directed by Shankar, the sequel to Indian (1996), Kamal Haasan reprises his role as Senapathy, an ageing freedom fighter turned vigilante who fights against corruption and has an ensemble supporting cast including Siddharth, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, S. J. Suryah, Bobby Simha, Vivek, and Priya Bhavani Shankar.

It is jointly produced by Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies. The film  is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on 12 July 2024.
