Comedy was one genre that I haven’t done, I did a gangster movie and an intense love story, now I finally got to do comedy as well. I am grateful for this role, because all the parts which I was doing were in an intense space, but Ayush in Madgaon Express was much lighter as compared to do character I had before, so it was liberating for me.”

“It was very free while I was doing it, I wasn’t tense, I didn’t have to any physical transformation for it, so it was less taxing and I had fun while doing the role and that translated on the screen for the audience, they had fun watching it, we had fun while doing it, so it has been a giving film” added Avinash.

Written and directed by actor Kunal Khemu in his directorial debut and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under the banner of Excel Entertainment. The film also stars Divyenndu, Pratik Gandhi, Nora Fatehi, Upendra Limaye and Chhaya Kadam.
