Rather Than My Family, I Want To Be Known For My Work Says Alizeh Agnihotri

Salman Khan’s niece Alizeh Agnihotri, who made her debut with Farrey said she wants to be known for her work, rather than her family background.

Alizeh Agnihotri was interacting with media to promote the world digital premiere of Farrey.

Daughter of Atul Agnihotri and Alvira Khan Agnihotri, newbie Alizeh made her debut with Farrey. The film helmed by Soumendra Padhi is produced by Salman Khan, based on exam-cheating scam.

Being from an influential family, we asked if she faced a Farrey moment in her real-life, Alizeh said, “You can buy everything in life, but you cannot buy respect or merit, the biggest thing I want to achieve that I am known for my work rather than my family, that’s the biggest resource that I need – respect and merit, and that is what I am trying to achieve.”

After the theatrical release, the film will have its digital premiere of ZEE5, this 5thApril 2024. Talking about the premiere, Alizeh said, “I am more excited for the OTT release than the theatrical release, because all the reviews are out, now people know about the film and a lot more people will watch it, we have been waiting for the OTT release, now I am excited to know how differently people will respond to it.”

When asked about choosing Farrey for her debut, Alizeh added, “I feel Farrey chose me, because we’re the producer of the film, we’re put the entire team together, the reason why I wanted to do this film was because it was different, it was challenging, and un-expected sort of film, and we planned the film and executed it the way it should have been, I am grateful for the way the film has turned out and I wish to do more films like Farrey.”

The film also stars Ronit Roy, Sahil Mehta, Zeyn Shaw, Prasanna Bisht, Juhi Babbar and Shilpa Shukla. It is an official remake of the 2017 Thai film Bad Genius.
