Shoojit Sircar’s Next Is Really Special Says Abhishek Bachchan

As the veteran filmmaker Shoojit Sircar clocks 20 years in film industry, actor Abhishek Bachchan, who is collaborating with the National Award winner director for his next, shares a little sneak-peek video of the forthcoming untitled drama.

Sharing a video post on his social media, Abhishek Bachchan captioned it, “This one is really special! Glad to be a part of this heart-warming tale about "celebrating life". Shoojit Sircar’s next film is an Abhishek Bachchan-starrer that revolves around the changing dynamics of a father-daughter relationship, production house Rising Sun Films.

In the video, a few scenes from the film have been teased at the end of the reel. It shows a cityscape of a foreign country with red double-decker buses driving past people in a hurry to reach their place of work. A sunglasses-sporting Abhishek Bachchan makes an appearance as he walks on the road while talking on the phone. It ends with a distant shot of a father and a daughter sitting on a bench by a lake.

Also starring Johnny Lever, Ahilya Bamroo and Jayant Kriplani, the film is produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar. The title and release date of the film have been kept under wraps.
