Madhubala Biopic Is CONFIRMED!
Sony Pictures International Productions has recently announced its collaboration with Brewing Thoughts P Ltd and Madhubala Ventures for an upcoming biopic on the legendary actress Madhubala. Titled simply as "Madhubala," the film aims to pay a heartfelt tribute to one of Indian cinema's most iconic figures.
The official handle of Sony Pictures Films India confirmed the project, it tweeted, “#ExcitingNews! Jasmeet K Reen, known for her directorial debut with "Darlings," starring Alia Bhatt, is set to direct the biopic, which will delve into the life and legacy of Madhubala, whose beauty and talent mesmerized audiences during the golden age of Indian cinema.
Known for her iconic roles in films like "Mughal-e-Azam" and "Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi," Madhubala continues to be celebrated as one of the greatest actresses in Indian film history.
The production of "Madhubala" is a collaborative effort between Sony Pictures International Productions, Brewing Thoughts P Ltd (led by Prashant Singh and Madhurya Vinay), and Madhubala Ventures (represented by Madhubala's sister, Madhur Brij Bhushan, and Arvind Kumar Malviya).
