Randeep Hooda Pays Tribute to Lokmanya Tilak

Actor Randeep Hooda recently paid a visit to the house and memorial of Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak, one of the towering figures of India's freedom struggle. He shared his experience of being in the presence of history, where the energy of revolution still lingers. The house is where young revolutionaries like Veer Savarkar were influenced and inspired to join the Swarajya Movement.

Sharing a string of pictures from his visit, Randeep Hooda captioned it, “Visited the house and memorial of one of the tallest leaders of our freedom struggle Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak ji, one can still feel the energy of revolution where young Veer Savarkar and many got influenced and galvanised to take part in the Swarajya Movement and the struggle for independence.”

During his visit, Randeep had the opportunity to see the original first flag of Bharat, which was hoisted by Madam Bhikaji Cama in 1906. This historic flag was designed by Madam Cama, Shyamji Krishna Verma, and Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, highlighting the rich history of India's independence movement.

On the work front, Randeep Hooda will soon be seen in Swatantrya Veer Savarkar, the biopic is directed, written, produced and acted by  the actor, also starring Amit Sial and Ankita Lokhande.
