Breaking Stereotypes in Comedy-Drama Crew Says Kriti Sanon

The world of Indian cinema is gearing up for a refreshing change with the upcoming release of the comedy-drama "Crew," starring the talented trio of Kriti Sanon, Tabu, and Kareena Kapoor Khan. The film, which is produced by Ekta Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor, promises to break stereotypes about women-centric films and showcase the comedic talents of its leading ladies.

During the trailer launch of the movie, Kriti Sanon expressed her confidence in women's ability to excel in comedy, stating, Kriti said she is confident that Crew will break the myths about women-centric films. “Whenever a women-led film comes, then people think it would be serious or some issue being raised, or it would be out male-bashing or something like that. But here nothing is like that. You can see women can do comedy very well,” she said.

While talking about working with Tabu and Kareena for the first time, Kriti added, “We always get to work with men mostly. It was very refreshing to work with women, who are so talented and who I have admired for years. I think we all look up to them (Tabu and Kareena) in what they bring to the table and the fact that they have been reinventing themselves.”

Crew follows the story of three flight attendants working for Kohinoor Airlines, who find themselves in a unique situation when they encounter a man with gold bars attached to his chest. The film's plot promises a mix of comedy, drama, and intrigue, making it a highly anticipated release among audiences.

Adding to the star-studded cast are Diljit Dosanjh, Rajesh Sharma and Kapil Sharma. The film's release on March 29!
