Current Government Doesn’t Need My Film Article 370 To Win Elections Says Aditya Dhar

URI fame director Aditya Dhar, who has turned producer for forthcoming Article 370, sets the record straight about film being a propaganda for the current government. He said, the government doesn’t need his small film to win election, they have already built the temple.

Aditya Dhar along with Yami Gautam, director Aditya Suhas Jambhale and more was interacting with media during the trailer launch.

Article 370 narrates the confidential chain of events that led to the unprecedented outcome of rendering Article 370 ineffective, the trailer features speeches of Narendra Modi and Amit Shah.

When asked if the film release and subject matter is designed to promote current Government, Aditya Dhar said, “I seriously feel that current government doesn’t need a small film like Article 370 to win an election, they made Ram Mandir for us, it took us 500 years to get that, I don’t think they need us to get them votes.”

“So, I think this film is something which has the right intent, the timing of decided almost a year or two back, because the dates are selected after discussing with exhibitors and distributors, and that is how we decided upon the date, there was another movie Ashwatthama that was supposeto happen as well, but that didn’t happen. By god’s grace, this is best time we got and whatever happens, happen for the best” added Dhar.

The film also stars Priyamani, Arun Govil, Vaibhav Tatwawadi, Skand Thakur, Ashwini Koul, Kiran Karmarkar, Divya Seth Shah, Raj Zutshi, Sumit Kaul, Raj Arjun, Asit Gopinath Redij, Ashwani Kumar and Irawati Harshe Mayadev. The film is slated for 23rd Feb 2024 release.
