Madhur Bhandarkar Celebrates 21 Years Of Satta

National award winner filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar celebrates 21 years of Satta, a political drama which established Raveena Tandon as a seasoned actress.

Written and directed by Madhur Bhandarkar, the Satta was released in 2003, starring Raveena Tandon, Atul Kulkarni, Govind Namdev, Sameer Dharmadhikari and more.

The film narrates the story of a persecuted wife of a greedy politician who takes on his role after he lands up in jail because of murder charges. The film received critical acclaim upon release and is considered one of the best performances of Tandon.

The film highlighted the issue of nexus between the underworld, businessmen, corrupt policemen and politicians.

Meanwhile on the work front, Raveena Tandon is currently enjoying the success of her new show Karmma Calling. Next she will be seen in Ghudchadi and Welcome to the Jungle.

While, Madhur recently produced Circuitt, a Marathi film which was a remake of 2016 Sameer Thahir's Malyalam film Kali.
