Alia Bhatt Turns Executive Producer Of Poachers

Adding one more feather in her cap, actor Alia Bhatt turns executive producer for the forthcoming Amazon Original crime series Poacher, written and directed by Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Richie Mehta.

The official handle of Prime Video India made the announcement, it said, “Beneath the silence, the forest reveals a deadly conspiracy... and the hunt for the Poacher begins! An investigative crime series based on true events, Poacher unearths the largest ivory smuggling racket in Indian history. The upcoming series features an ensemble cast of Nimisha Bhattacharya, Roshan Mathew and Dibyendu Bhattacharya in lead roles.

Produced by QC Entertainment in association with Suitable Pictures, Poor Man’s Productions and Eternal Sunshine Productions, Poacher is set to premiere on Prime Video on 23rd February 2024.

Apart from producing Poacher, actor Alia Bhatt is busy wrapping Jigra, directed by Vasan Bala. Interestingly, the movie is co-produced by the actor and filmmaker Karan Johar, who forays into action genre for the first time with Dharma Movies.
