Actress Pranutan Bahl, who made her debut with Note Book, has bagged her first International project, titled Coco And Nut, alongside American actor-filmmaker Rahsaan Noor.

The film, directed by Noor, revolves around an ambitious young woman navigating the challenges of saving her marriage with unexpected support from her college sweetheart, played by Noor.

Pranutan, who plays the role of Nut in the film, took to her social media and shared, “Gratitude, My first international feature film.. my Hollywood debut..such a special feeling..feels surreal, thank you to everyone who made it happen.. here’s to Coco & Nut @rahsaannoor @mulberry_media @deadline @ranjithrajasekharan @black.chad @onai304”

Scheduled for shooting in Chicago from June to July, the movie will be produced in both English and Hindi, featuring a diverse cast and crew from the United States and India.

Coco & Nut draws inspiration from a heartfelt text message Noor received from his college sweetheart years after their breakup, providing insights into the dynamics of relationships for Millennials and Gen Z. The narrative delves into the prevalent trend of delayed marriage, offering a nuanced exploration of modern love's challenges.

Written by Rahsaan Noor and Raghav Murali, with additional screenplay by Priyamvada Singh, the film is produced by Hamilton Moving Pictures' and slated for release in 2025.
