Talking about Katrina and Vijay's casting, he said, "Katrina and Vijay's casting felt like a new combination to us. I feel this is the perfect pairing for the film and it could not have been better than this. Also the film is made in two languages, Hindi and Tamil. So Viay's casting will surely be a boost for the film."
