Actor and director Konkana Sen Sharma's versatility is known to everyone. The actress can get into the skin of any character and has always portrayed different character with each release. The actress revealed that she is very judgy when it comes to role selection.

In a candid conversation, Konkana Sen Sharma opened up about her role selection, whether it is for a movie or series.

The actress is known to always play varied characters. Speaking about the same, she said, "The characters I played are very different from me. Even in my first film, my first character was very different from me and that time I was very Judgy. But now I have learnt to somehow leak a bit of myself into the characters."

Talking about working with Manoj and Abhishek Chaubey on Killer Soup, Konkona said, "It is different in different projects. I have been dying to work with Abhishek Chaubey. Whatever role he  would have given me, I would have happily done. I would have made a special appearance for him too. I am lucky I got work in a series. We worked together extensively for this one. Plus there was Manoj."

The series is about an aspiring yet talentless home chef (Konkana Sen Sharma), who conspires to replace her husband, Prabhakar (Manoj Bajpayee), with her lover, Umesh (also played by Manoj Bajpayee).

Killer Soup is a black comedy crime thriller co-written by Abhishek Chaubey along with Harshad Nalawade, Anant Tripathi and Unaiza Merchant and directed by Abhishek Chaubey. It is streaming on Netflix.
