Made Safed With A lot Of Collective Responsibility Says Sandeep Singh
Producer Sandeep Singh, who is turning director with his debut movie Safed says the film is made with a lot of collective responsibility rather than just one man show.
Sandeep Singh hosted a mega music launch of Safed in Mumbai. Singers such as Sonu Nigam, Rekha Bhardwaj, and the entire ensemble graced the event.
When asked about making the film and producing it all by himself, Sandeep Singh said, “I made Safed with a lot of responsibility, a collective responsibility with my team, it is a special film. It is a small film now, when the audience will watch it and appreciate it, only then it will become big.”
The film throws light into the dark world of a widow and a eunuch who, isolated and abandoned by society, find solace in each other.
When asked about the objective behind tackling such a sensitive issue, Sandeep Singh said, “This is a story about two people, who are usually overlooked in society, and people try to stay away from them. I think, everyone who thinks they can call themselves normal, they all should watch this film and collectively should accept widowers, transgender and third gender.”
