Dhanush Wraps The Shoot For #D50 - #DD2

After directing Pa Paandi in 2017, actor Dhanush announced his second directorial venture, untitled drama referred as #D50 or #DD2, now the shoot for the film is complete.

D50 is written, directed and starred by Dhanush in his 50th film in the lead role. It is produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner Sun Pictures.

Sharing the news about the film wrap, Dhanush took to his social media profile and tweeted, “#D50  #DD2wrapped. My sincere thanks to the entire crew and cast. Also a big thanks to Kalanithi Maran sir and Sun Pictures for supporting my vision.”

The film also stars an ensemble cast of S. J. Suryah, Sundeep Kishan, Nithya Menen and Kalidas Jayaram. The music is composed by A. R. Rahman, while the cinematography and editing are handled by Om Prakash and Prasanna GK, respectively.

Dhanush is also busy with period drama Captain Miller, directed by Arun Matheswaran, and produced by Sathya Jyothi Films. The film also stars Priyanka Arul Mohan, Shiva Rajkumar, Sundeep Kishan, John Kokken, and Edward Sonnenblick.
