Anil Kapoor And Ranbir Kapoor Were Warm And Welcoming Says Saloni Batra

Actress Saloni Batra, who played the role of Ranbir Kapoor's on-screen sister in Animal, says the entire ensemble was warm and welcoming, despite this being her first ever big star ensemble movie.

Saloni Batra was interacting with the media during a screening of Animal on Wednesday in Mumbai.

When asked about finding her space in such a huge ensemble cast, Saloni said, “I was working with such a huge star-cast for the first time, obviously I was little nervous and scared, but everyone was like a family, they were warm and welcoming that it didn’t feel like working with them for the first time. Anil Kapoor, and Ranbir Kapoor, with them it felt like family, I felt good, and it was an amazing experience working and learning with everyone. Sandeep Vanga Reddy taught me a lot on the film.”

Ranbir Kapoor and Saloni Batra’s school scene involving AK-47, has its own fan base, some liked it but other called it out as violent.

When asked Saloni if her real brother liked the scene or not, she said, “My real brother loved the scene, he was like well atleast someone protected you on-screen, he loved it on a personal level, I think he loved it, even people loved the scene as well. They get that protecting the sister kind of feel, they are able to relate with it.”

The film has minted a whopping 480 Crore worldwide, expressing her excitement over the success of the film, Saloni said, “Response is tremendous, people are loving it, people are watching the film 6-7 times, nothing could have been better than this, I am so overwhelmed right now. I wish to thank each one for appreciating the film. Every day I read a new news-article about a film making so much money, our film is turning into a success story.”
