Hats Off To Bhushan Kumar For Animal Says Sanjay Gupta

Noir Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta is nothing but praises for Animal and its makers for presenting something unique and unprecedented in Indian film history.

Sandeep Vanga Reddy directorial Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Tripti Dimri and Rashmika Mandanna, is ruling the box-office despite opening with mixed reviews. The film is longest feature ever shot in Indian history.

Known for directing noir-crime dramas such as Aatish, Kaante, Shootout At Lokhandwala, Shootout At Wadala, Kaabil and Mumbai Saga, took to his social media and praised the producer for baking a directors vision.

Sanjay Gupta took to his X profile and wrote, “Watched A N I M A L today and the only person I want to talk about is Bhushan Kumar the producer. What he has done is unprecedented. Backed a director's vision, released a film the length of which most would consider Harakiri. No studio would have done it. HATS OFF BK.”

On the wrok front, Sanjay Gupta made an announcement on the acquisition of Yali Dream Creations' Rakshak, which is a thrilling graphic novel about a vigilante superhero. This is India's first graphic novel to be made into a massive and ambitious feature film.

Apart from directing the film, Sanjay will be producing it under his company, White Feather Entertainment, along with co-producers, Asvin Srivatsangam and Vivek Rangachari from Yali Dream Works.
