Falaq Naaz Calls Out Pretense on Bigg Boss 17, Hails Munawar Faruqui's Authenticity

Bigg Boss OTT 2 alum Falaq Naaz has weighed in on the current season of the reality show, asserting that, in her view, genuineness is a rare commodity among the contestants of Bigg Boss 17. During a recent interaction with the media in Mumbai, the actor, known for her candid opinions, expressed that apart from comedian Munawar Faruqui, she perceives others as putting on a facade or playing a role on the show.

When asked about her thoughts on Bigg Boss 17 and which contestant she supports, Falaq Naaz stated, “I keep watching Bigg Boss 17 on and off, and as far as talking about the current lot being real or fake, I don’t think I see any realness or genuine personality on the show. I mean, I don’t see any real personality that I support or fall in love with. Munawar is someone I am liking a lot. He is very calm and well-mannered; I think I like him a lot, probably I will support him in the near future. Apart from Munawar, I think the rest of the people are just pretending.”

Even the presence of celebrity couple Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain on the show did not escape Falaq's discerning eye. She remarked, "Ankita and Vicky probably gave it a lot of thought before entering the house. I think they have spent a lot of time watching it prior and learned all the tricks and trades of the show, and I think they are also in a pretend mode. Fights are going on, but I don’t know if they are real or fake.”

Despite her reservations about the authenticity of the Bigg Boss 17 contestants, Falaq Naaz is enthusiastic about her own upcoming project—a web series set to release in February. Having ruled the television soap industry for a decade, Falaq is now venturing into the digital series space, adding another dimension to her versatile acting career
