Anupam Kher Calls Out Neeraj Pandey For Remaining Episodes Of The Freelancer

Veteran actor Anupam Kher and filmmaker Neeraj Pandey are frequent collaborator, their latest, an action thriller series, The Freelancer, based on Shirish Thorat's A Ticket to Syria, turned an epic hit with its first season and now the veteran actor wants the filmmaker to release the rest of the series.

Created and written by Neeraj Pandey, with Bhav Dhulia serving as the director the series features Mohit Raina, Anupam Kher and Kashmira Pardeshi.

The series is set in an hostile climate set apart by misdirection and treachery. It revolves around Aliya's journey as she endeavours to escape from challenging conditions. The first season consisting for 4 episodes, aired on Diseny Plus Hotstar on 1 September 2023.

Actor  Anupam Kher took to his social media profile and tweeted, “My dearest @neerajpofficial! It is strange I have to communicate this to you on social media! But am consistently bombarded with the same question. Can you please tell the world and of course me, when are the balance episodes of #TheFreelancer releasing? It is extremely upsetting! @DisneyPlusHS”

Filmmaker Neeraj Pandey also replied to Anupam Kher, he tweeted, “Sir am told they are working on a drop before the drop.”
