Parish Teaser Is Out

AMC drops the teaser for a thriller series called Parish, about a taxi driver whose life is turned upside down when he agrees to pick-up a Zimbabwean gangster known for exploiting many undocumented immigrants at the U.S. southern ports.

The series stars Giancarlo Esposito, Arica Himmel, Paula Malcomson, Ivan Mbakop, Bonnie Mbuli, Zackary Momo, Dax Rey, and Skeet Ulrich.

Gray Parish (Giancarlo Esposito) is a good man with a troubled past who gave up his life of crime for life as a family man. But when his son is violently murdered, old habits return, sending him on a relentless quest with dubious moral intentions and dangerous consequences for all involved.

Parish is a new series developed by Danny Brocklehurst and Sunu Gonera. It's based on the British BBC series called The Driver (2014).

The script is also written by Danny Brocklehurst, with Amadou Diallo. The series starts streaming in 2024.
